In
about the year 1850, Honoré Geoffroy set out the property in the villages
of Beines and La Chapelle Vaupelteigne, just a small area right in the heart
of the Chablis vineyards. Alain Geoffroy took over the property at the age
of 16 with 3 hectares, and in a few years succeeded in turning the property
into an Estate. In this he is the worthy successorof all the preceding generations
who have preserved

a
character of tradition and family. For the Geoffroys, from the time of Noah
up to our days, have all been born wine-growers. Today the Estate covers
45 hectares. Mr. Geoffroy has built up a team of skilled technicians to
ensure the good running of operations. He is also backed up by his wife
and daughter for the promotion and marketing of the wines. |
